Ordering Chicks

FOR BIOSECURITY REASONS: Due to the Avian influenza/Bird Flu we aren't currently allowing farm tours/visit (No Exceptions). This is due to the dangers that it could cause to our birds. In hopes that we can keep our birds healthy and provide you with the quality that you expect!

Have chicks arrive straight to your door! We'll start ship chicks from middle  March  or early April , only ship chicks through Priority express USPS to ensure their well-being.

We will email you the tracking number when the birds ship.  USPS Priority Mail Express is the fastest domestic service available from the USPS. Although we pay for this express service, we cannot guarantee that your shipment will be delivered overnight. The delivery commitments vary depending on your zip code; please check with the USPS if you are concerned about the possibility of two-day delivery. .

We require a minimum to ship of::

  • 8 chicks                       (Do not mixed with  poults)

  • 10  Poults                   (Do not mixed with  chicks)

This insures there is enough body heat to keep the chicks warm. Shipping takes place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to ensure they make it to their destination before the weekend. USPS Express mail shipping for chick boxes $50.00.  Up to 20 day-old chicks can be placed in a box.If you order are more then 20 chicks, we'll using bigger box at not extra charge. All shipping cost is the customer's responsibility. Please contact us for a shipping quote on juvenile birds.

Local pickup is available. However, due to farm bio-security, a public meeting place with be arranged prior to pick up. We take bio-security very seriously. Practicing good bio-security protects our flock as well as your new flock.        

 

  SORRY, WE DO NOT ALLOW FARM VISITS.

 

We offer a 48-hour guarantee on our chicks. We guarantee your new chicks to arrive alive and that they will live for 48 hours after you receive them. If you have any dead birds within 48 hours after delivery, we will refund you the value of the dead birds. Please need notify us of the loss within 48 hours after you receive the birds and email a photo of any dead birds. We do not send replacement birds

Hatching Eggs

 

 

Bond with your chicks as they hatch with eggs from Carolina Rare Chicks. We offer eggs from different breeds, with some breeds that are difficult to find in the United States. We mail eggs to you so you can watch them hatch in your own incubator.

We sell eggs in  6  quantities depending on availability you can order more sets of 6.

 

  • NOTE:  We will begin ship hatching eggs maybe from late March or EarlyApril, if  are available before, will notify you.  Chicks Orders will filled before any eggs orders.

  • With Eggs  orders  sent a note with you Phone number as well.

 

 

WE CAN NOT GUARENTEE  HATCH RATES! WE DO NOT REPLACE HATCHING EGGS DUE TO LOW OR NO HATCH RATES, 

 

 

We  do Guarantee  you will received your eggs in good conditions, if not we will refund or  replace the broken eggs.

  We take great pride in packaging our eggs , to make sure getting to you in good conditions,  we cannot control how they are handled. We mark every box clearly, FRAGILE, and ask that they not be x-rayed by usps. Rough handling, extreme hot/cold, incubation practices, etc. all effect hatch rate. By purchasing hatching eggs, you agree you have read and understand this policy.
